Having a Heart of Integrity for God's Plan  What is your heart revealing about your reactions to God's word? Our hearts reveal what we will do with God's revelation-knowledge. If we have the right intentions, then we will have positive results. In the book of Proverbs 22:11 TPT states, "The Lord loves those whose hearts are holy, and he is the friend of those whose ways are pure... God passionately watches over his deep reservoir of revelation-knowledge, but He subverts the lies of those who pervert the truth." I like that God lovingly watches over his deep reservoir of revelation-knowledge. When He's revealing things to us, it's because He wants us to have the information to sustain us no matter what may come our way.  The Lord watches over his word to perform it or have it come to pass. He doesn't just give it out to anybody. God is not happy with people who pervert His truth for their own benefit. He wants his word to be respected an

August 27 th Blessing The Gift of Good, Godly Instructions Lady Wisdom says, “Closely follow my instructions.” Proverbs 3 1 TLB There is nothing better than proper instructions given at the right time. Having a thankful heart makes us receptive to new information. When we enter into a learning environment, a spirit of gratitude helps us to receive the goodness that is being dispensed to us – the virtue of instructions. Have you ever received a kit or a piece of furniture that you had to put together, but it came with no instructions? How did you feel? Well, the first time that happened to me, I felt betrayed by the manufacturer. It did not make sense to me why he would send me the package without telling me how to put the furniture together. I have also received instructions that give a picture with no words to clarify what the images were representing. I found that both situations left me very frustrated and ready to send the purchased item back to the company. Li

She goes out to inspect a field, and buys it; with her own hands, she plants a vineyard. Proverbs 31:16 (TLB) Are you an entrepreneur? Do you want to start something new or expand into something new? Then this is the time to not despise the new beginnings but to realize that you have to develop the fruit of patience. Let patience have its perfect work in you. It will take time for things to build. You have to give the seed time to germinate. But by prayer and the word, praise, and worship to God, you will see changes happen. It may start off little by little, but eventually, it will grow into something grand if you stick with it. Have patience!

Goodness: Blessing of Plenty Generosity It is possible to give away and become richer! It is also possible to hold on to tightly and lose everything. Yes, the liberal man shall be rich! By watering others, he waters himself. Proverbs 11:24-25 TLB Lady Wisdom asks, “What are you afraid of losing that you cannot give freely? In the garden, water is an essential part of the process of growing plants. If the plants do not receive water, then they are going to die. So in the natural so in the spiritual, when we water others with our time, talent, and treasure, then individuals will live and flourish. In the process of watering others, Proverbs tells us that we water ourselves. The garden of our soul gets watered too! August 21 st Blessing: Start Our Day with God Prepared Fruit of Faithfulness The blessing of the day is that we can start our day with God.  We have the choice to become world changers by our act of starting our day with Him.    God will allow us to get an inside scoop of what the day will be. We can set the tone of the day by acknowledging Him. When we address God first in the morning when we rise, we are telling God that we want to partner with Him. He is our boss, our commander in chief and we are coming to Him for instructions. These instructions can save our lives. It can even start something great that will last throughout eternity.  Dedicating ourselves to God each morning like David did in Ps 25:1 states, “Unto you, Lord, do I bring my life.” Lifting up our hands every morning to the Lord and telling Him, “Here I am.”    Lord show me my assignment, show me what to do, show me where to go? Energy is generated from the force of love. When we love someone or love something, then we can stir up the power to demonstrate the passion for it. We become excited with the opportunity to express our affections to the person. The zeal is there and then becomes translated into energy. So it is with whatever we genuinely love.  This energy to love our gardens first starts with the passion of your heart. Our emotions lead us to do something about our enthusiasm for the garden. We can see with a brand new eye or vision for the garden. We know what it can become. The possibilities are there, and we want to bring them to pass. August Blessing  Joyfulness I want to do whatever that I must do from a heart of joy. That way, my work, or anything that I do is coming from a heart of love and no obligation. When I feel that I am obligated to do things, then it feels like I am toiling, and there is no enjoyment in the process. It makes it difficult to appreciate the process. I want whatever I do to come from a motivation of joyfulness. The bible, 1Thessalonians 5:18, says, “In all things give thanks…” However, it is hard to give thanks for things that we do not value. We must see the value in the learning. What is it that I am going to gain from this activity? How will it assist me in my growth? I want to rise to a new level of maturity. Having the feeling of weariness and fatigue does not promote enthusiasm for the activity or work. The Bible says in Matthew 12:34, “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.” If there is no joy in my heart for what I am doing, then I need to not do it. It i

This is our intention to be wise and to walk in the wisdom of God. To be able to do that we have to be diligent. That's the keyword for today - diligence. Are you diligent in what God has called you to do? Are you really spending the time to figure it out and to put it together? On the other hand, are you just going through life without really thinking about what's essential and what is not crucial? In my meditations, I’ve been looking at things that matter. What matters? What I've been thinking about is how important it is to get it right. I'll make sure that I'm not just talking off the top of my head. I'm glad that I'm aware of God and what he means to me. “A man of deep understanding will give good advice drawing it out from the well within.” (Proverbs 20:5 RSV) If you don't have a deep understanding, to begin with, then what are you going to draw from? So that's why it's crucial to spend time in the word of God meditating. As you do that, you have now something to draw from. When you plant the word and print it in your heart by meditating and memorizing it, then you can employ the word of God. You can give that good advice. Using the knowledge to be successful, you have a deep understanding. In the book of Proverbs chapter 20, we find that there are wisdom nuggets. However, it's good to have certain things that you do each morning to get you going through the day. One of the crucial things is planning. It is a habit of thinking about what you want to complete for the day. Planning is key to success. We can gain peace in our spirit by actively planning our day. Trends of Loving Tribes: How to Handle Isolation Are you a part of a tribe – a community of like-minded people? We all need to be connected with someone. We don't need to be in isolation. We are able through technology to also connect with others. However, I must say that there's nothing like actually physically touching one another and being together with one another. Being able to hug, hold, talk, and listen are satisfying. To do all of that, to be in community with one another using all of the senses is fulfilling. The book of Ruth speaks to what I am thinking about, and it's called tribes. Ruth found her people - her right tribe through her relationship with Naomi. Determined to follow Naomi, she returned to Bethlehem. Ruth became a part of a greater community of people in which she was able to establish the lineage of David, which revealed Jesus Christ.
