September 21st Prayer

Take Time to Laugh Psalm 32:11 AMPC Be glad in the Lord and
rejoice, you [uncompromisingly] righteous [you who are upright and in right
standing with Him]; shout for joy, all you upright in heart!

Celebrate God. Sing together – everyone! All you honest
hearts, raise the roof! MSG

So rejoice in the Lord and be glad, all you who obey him!
Shout for joy, all you whose hearts are pure! NLT

Dear Lord,

I am happy that you are a God of Joy! You tell us to be
satisfied and not to worry. Yet we find ourselves many times worrying about
what will happen next when we do not have control over our future. We can plan
for the future, but ultimately it is you who directs our steps. We are grateful
that you want to be actively involved in our lives. However, you will not make
us do anything that we do not want to do. You, my Lord, are not a bully.

Help me and my subscribers and listeners to not be anxious
and worried because of the many dangerous things happening in the world. Yes,
we need to acknowledge them and be prepared. However, help us to relax and take
things as they come. Help us not to get upset but to sit back and ask you what
does this all mean?

Thank you for giving us opportunities to laugh and to sing
for joy. When we wake up in the morning help us to look for comfort in the day.
You want us to enjoy every moment of our lives.

Thank you, Lord, that life with you is not boring. Each day
is filled with new mercies, a new adventure, and new experiences that can make
us excited about living and sharing our lives with others.

Lord help my subscribers and me not to get upset but to laugh
and not expect perfection from ourselves all of the time. Help us to let
ourselves grow in you and grow through prayer as we enjoy our lives this day.

Thank you, Jesus! Amen
