Entering into Our Promised Land
I'm pleased about this day. This day has just been moving along really quickly, and we are at the end of June. Today my meditation has really been on "Jesus comforts his disciples about peace."  We don't have to live this life without order. Jesus comforts us. It says in John 14:10 (TPT), “Don't worry or surrender to your fear. For you've believed in God, now trust and believe in me also.” I like that promise. Jesus says for us, “Don't worry or surrender to your fear.”  It’s so easy in this day and age to surrender to fear to give into it.  Jesus promised us that we can rest in him. He says, "My Father's house has many dwelling places. If it were otherwise, I would tell you plainly because I go to prepare a place for you to rest."

Obviously. Now that's why it's essential to discover where is your promise land and start working the land. We’ve been talking about the Promised Land and how to enter into it. The Promised Land is what God has placed in your heart for you to cultivate and grow. He has put it there so that we can become what He intended for us to be. We can depend on the promises of God.

I have been thinking about tribes. We need to find like-minded people who can come and join us in the discovery of our Promised Land. They have been assigned to us.  Who are the friends that God has entrusted to you?  Those people are not just your friends, but they are your comrades in the kingdom. In Kingdom building, they're going to have to push you along in the dream which is the vision that God has for you. So those are the friends that we want to get close to.

With the process of developing our God-given Promise Land and friendships that He has assigned to us, we're going to have peace. Because we know that we're not alone. We’re going to have peace because Jesus has promised us the Holy Spirit, who is the Comforter. He has been assigned to us to. Therefore He will not leave us. He will be with us. Jesus is giving us like-minded people - friends who also will be there to advise us and to comfort us. They will cherish us and fill us with love. Hopefully, they will encourage us and have our back as we go through the process of fulfilling the purpose.  The vision that God has given us.

Every one of us has a dream.  It’s up to us to figure it out and get busy working our land.  God has given each and every one of us our Promised Land.  Abraham went out on faith and discovered his promised land. To this day, the promises that God made to Abraham are being fulfilled. He is a father of many nations and that his countries are prosperous. If God did it for Abraham, then He will fulfill His promise to us if we have faith. God keeps his promises.  When God gives guarantees, He's not just giving hopes for you, but He's also giving you promises into the next generation.  He sees the whole picture. We only see this little time frame of where we are right now in our lives.  But God, he sees into the future. He sees the full picture. He intends to bless us.

We are part of a more excellent Vision.   Someone would say it's a tapestry. We're just one little thread. We need to make sure that we make it through the fabric so that we can add to the beauty of what God is designing.
