Lady Wisdom asks, “Who comes first?”

Lady Wisdom gives us the answer to success. She has the knowledge and understanding of how to obtain the crown. Putting God first is the secret to success! He provides direction and supports our efforts. We all want to be successful. God is the one who will help us to achieve it.

The Lord's presence equals success and prosperity. The key to success is having the presence of God in our lives. Asking God first about things in our lives will open up Lady Wisdom to provide answers to questions that we have for our everyday living.  That means that we need to begin with prayer and worship to God. Early in the morning, we need to seek the Lord.

Practicing the presence of God will bring success to our daily lives. Lord, what do you think about this issue? Lord, what will you want me to do? Lord, how will I bring about opportunity and access for others to succeed? Then, listening to what God has to say. He speaks through his word. Others will see that you are blessed. They will seek you out for answers. God is Lord! Lord over everything. Lord over success!

Getting Ready for Better

 Lady Wisdom asks, “Are you ready to change for the better?”

Improvement is the goal for the year. In each area of our lives there is always room for improvement.  Are we ready and willing to recognize the need for change? Many times it takes something or someone to correct us and provide direction. It is how we handle it that will make the difference. Walking in humility, helps us to grow.

I believe if our parents never set boundaries for us as a child, then it becomes more difficult to take correction from authority figures. It shows up at school when the teacher gives instructions and we do not listen. We may get a "C" verses the "A" that we were looking for. The teacher tells us what we need to do to get the "A" however we settle for the "C" because we do not want to listen to the teacher.

Taking things personal and thinking negatively about the comments, can impact the amount of time needed to make improvements in that area. Bitterness and resentment can set in and make it difficult to make changes. Being proactive and trying to understand what the person is saying can help to bring about benefits. It will help us to move forward. If the doctor tells you that you need to lose 20 pounds for health reasons or you need to change your eating habits and exercise, then you need to change your life style? To avoid negative consequences, we need to take the instructions and do it.

Lady Wisdom Has Instructions for Life

Lady Wisdom asks, “What are you faithful to?”

Many times we are given instructions to follow. There are times when we follow the instructions completely and other times when we deviate from it. We have the most success with completing the task when we stick to the directions or instructions. Have you ever had to put together furniture? Looking at the directions as a whole can be daunting! However, if you follow the instructions step by step and do not move ahead then you will be successful.

Sometimes I look ahead to see what the end would be, the finished product or sometimes I would read the instructions through before starting. There are also times that I would lay out all of the pieces and make sure that nothing is missing or find out where each piece is in the instructions. The closer I follow the instructions the more chances of getting it finished right. It is following a program with fidelity.

 Fidelity is the key word to the success of any program. Are you faithful to it?  I found that success can be found in our daily routine. If the instructions states to do something for a specific amount of time then stop. That is what needs to be done. If we need to follow a direct order for completing the task then do it that way. You and I will gain a long and satisfying life by listening to Lady Wisdom!

Please help me to follow your instructions Lady Wisdom so that I may have a long and satisfying life. Following your words with fidelity will lead me to great success.
