Proverbs 10:5 TLB There are so many distractions in our society today. These distractions can cause us to sleep and not be aware of the available opportunities. We call these things time robbers. Some of these time-wasters are complaining, gossiping, watching TV, hanging out with negative people, procrastination, and doing unnecessary activities, to name a few. The distractions can be a physical object or a mental diversion that leaves one in a dream state or paralyzed for long periods. Not eating right, not getting exercise, or taking time to plan out the day leaves us open to distractions that steal our ability to focus on what is most important. Our life is experiencing a detour.
