September 11th Prayer

We plan the way we want to live, but only God makes us able to live it. MSG Proverbs 16:9

Within your heart, you can make plans for your future, but the Lord chooses the steps you take to get there. TPT Proverbs 16:9

People plan their path, but the LORD secures their steps. CEB Proverbs 16:9

At times I feel that I am in control of my life but only to be reminded that it is God who makes it look so easy. When I do not consult God, I find that whatever I want to do is more complicated and becomes a burden. Listening and doing is the key to great success in life – doing life God’s way.

So this is my prayer for this day:
Lord, help me to appreciate the gifts and talents that you have given me and cultivate them.

First, give me a clear vision of what are the talents and gifts that you have endowed me with. I want to be able to recognize what talents and gifting’s that I have.

Second, help me to hear your voice speaking to me through these abilities and gifts. So that I can master my skills and gifts with power and grace.

Third, lead me each step of the way to discover why you have gifted me this way and to follow the pathway and actions that you have ordained for me to go.

Thank you for blessing my small steps and help me to focus on what you have gifted me to do. I want to excel for your honor and glory and to praise, assist, and support others on their journey in life.

Help me to do what I am good at and don’t quit! Amen
